We were very honored
by pastor Castro to be invited to preach two weeks in a row in their youth service. This was to be their inaugural service
having recently changed the location from their new location back to their old location in Ciudad Blanca. I spoke to the youths
on February 7 while Ximena shared with them on February 14! My message challenged the teens to make five kinds of hard things:
1. Do things
outside of their comfort zone
2. Do things that go beyond what is expected and required
3. Do things that are too big to accomplish
alone
4. Do things that don't earn any immediate payoff
5.
Do things that challenge the cultural norm
Ximena challenged them to maintain holiness in three areas of their life:
1. In their
spirit
2. In their soul/mind
3. In their body
Both services
were impactful yet practical leaving the youth to make some powerful decisions in their personal lives
as well in their service for God! We are looking forward to our next opportunity to share with these teens throughout this
year; it is such a great blessing to see young people on fire for the Lord but even a greater honor to be able to sow into
their lives!
